I went with my man to the fair and swam at the beach and saw the fireworks...and got terribly sunburned. He did too, so we can't touch eachother I looked at his yesterday and said "I'm so lonely" T_T I can't even hug him! But not for long, I suppose
So I got my copic markers FINALLY and I had to go to Chicago to do it...but they're purdy. But now it seems that I can't draw at all anymore! Which worries me because I'm in advanced painting next year :S
I've been writing alot more lately, and I've been working on my new novel project alot lately. I really like traditional gothic vampires, it's been a favourite genre of literature of mine for many years. I hope to finish the first draft by September, but I hate all the Twilight hype and I don't want my book to be associated with it...maybe by the time it gets finsihed the hype will be over? Hopefully. And submitting my book to publishers seems so daunghting, but I'll do it! I was thinking of getting a literary agent when the time comes, since most big publishing houses do not accept unsolicited manuscripts. Hm...
So I went to Chicago, and it was mighty fun! All my photos are on facebook and I'm too lazy to post them elsewhere. I went to the art institute, but they were having a public showing of their new wing so the entire building was PACKED. I would have rathered paid a bit of money and weed out the people who are there just to be annoying and have no interest in art.
